Holidays and Progress

 First I want to say Happy Thanksgiving and I hope your holiday is filled with good food, warm thoughts, and pleasant company. Things will a little different for my family this year at the holidays. Normally we have a big family dinner with lots of relatives, but in September my oldest son was diagnosed with  brain cancer so things will be on a smaller scale as exposure to possibly sick people is a real danger for him as he goes through his chemo. On the bright side, he is doing great and handling it well.

Work on AotHB is progressing well, we are about A third of a way through the manuscript. It is definitely shaping up into a more thorough and interesting story. Hand of the Black Blade is coming along slowly, but once I finish the intro chapters I think I will be able to burn out the rest of the story fairly quickly.

I have some ideas for short stories or possibly an ongoing story that I would post chapters as I finished them. Unfortunately, they will remain as just ideas for awhile as the two manuscripts and my son's sickness combined with working full time just doesn't leave me much free time.
